Sunset Over Puddles/ Sky Watch

Peach reflections in farm puddles

The sunset was rather blah and undramatic...until I noticed the reflections in the farmer's puddly field. I had just enough time to snatch my camera and shoot before the sun disappeared below some drab clouds. Another near miss!

Great reflections. Good reflexes about camera grabbing. LOL.
I feel naked without my camera in my hand. I think it is glued on.

As I always say: The foreground makes the picture - as you have shown here.

You've done it again. Like Valkyrien said. The right time and place. But then you always are. I love this picture and the fact that your snow has melted away.

Peach reflections. That sounds so nice, and I can just imagine the pleasant aroma to go with it. My first thought when I saw the reddish water was something like a scary novel. Brrrr!

This is such a fascinating photo because of the sky reflection being more intense than the actual sky. I love it!

Every time I see you pictures I feel like I'm waking up on my childhood farm near Peterborough. It's as though we live in a parallel world. Sometimes I thought that world was barren, boring, and an ugly brown, but when you look at it through someone else's eyes as evidenced by all your comments you see the beauty in it all over again.

Beautiful shot, the reflection is awesome with a range of colors getting reflected.

Gorgeous photo!! I love the way the clouds and the horizon and the fencerow are roughly parallel, and the furrows go another direction, and the trees yet another.
