Snow/Top Shot

Last day in February

For a few hours we lived in a winter wonderland. I had just enough time to take a few photos before much of the beauty melted.

I am linking to Madge's Weekly Top Shot.

Have a nice day :-)

Oh it sure did melt fast and you captured that moment perfectly. I did too. Those are the fleeting moments that if you are not paying attention vanish never to return:) You were paying attention, excellent. B

The beauty is ironic, tho. Too often it is followed by back-breaking and sometimes heart-stopping snow removal. I'll take the green rather than the white!!

A winter wonderland, indeed! We'd have liked to see just a little of the white stuff, but it wasn't to be this year.

Beautiful! That's a lot of snow to melt in a short time, but it's the only kind of snow we ever get and then it's rare.

Frame it and hang it! That's all I have to say other than, "It's magnifique!!!)

P.S. A lot of the folks who ride motorcycles here have radios connecting them with hands-off headsets to they're conversing all the time.

You and your camera were in the right place at the right time! Beautiful -- but I'm glad for you that it melted quickly -- it's time for spring!

(Our Canadian snowbird friends her in our park are beginning to head for home -- they hope Spring is about there ;>)

This is a glorious shot, serene and spectacularly beautiful! Everything's just right. And it's snow of the convenient sort, too. Self-removal: how nice!

Serenely beautiful; it reminds me of Robert Frost's Stopping By Woods On A Snow Evening.
