Old Farm Machinery

Lawn ornament

I'd love to tell you what this is but I dunno. It's sitting on the lawn in front of a local farmhouse. Maybe someday I'll knock on the owner's door and ask.  Meanwhile, I want to admire the rust, the wheels, the various shapes...

In celebration of the old and wonderful "stuff", I  am connecting to Rubbish Tuesday HERE.

yup, a planter. one seat in front for the team driver. one in back with a 'chute' to drop seeds or maybe even seedlings into a track.

So fun! To find rusty old things like this one! I'm sitting here wondering what vehicle is that.. I had to ask my mom, she could not tell either..
Hope you'll one day find out of it! Let me know if so.. :)

No........

An original horse-drawn tractor? Whatever this is, it certainly looks lovely in a blanket of snow.

I've never seen one like it but I think it might be a seed planter. Whatever it is, it looks nice there in the snow.

Very cool. In more ways than one. I'm not familiar with this thing either, but it appears one person is driving the horses and the other is planting something
